During Year 2 of my degree, I was able to create a mural design for Tannery Studios in Woking. As a result, I was chosen to fulfil this brief by painting it onto one of their 'pods', a small room clients could rent out for calls and other business uses.
The theme was 'communication', so I created a wildlife-inspired scene designed to wrap nicely around the pod, with fairy-like flower creatures in discussion. I then rendered this digitally using my self-taught 3D experience.
I would love to do mural work in the future, but hopefully in a style that is more representative of my current work, as I feel this is an outdated piece. Painting on a large scale is an exciting challenge.
