These pieces were created as my outcome for my Final Project during my Illustration degree, displayed at our graduation showcase in A3 size.
I created these pieces digitally with textured brushes, having spent a lot of time planning and experimenting with color and composition. I began by creating the rabbit piece, then followed by the wolf and the bear. Each has a color scheme and pose to reflect their meaning in the narrative of the work. To finish, I used a digital paper texture over the top of all of them to add more of a traditional quality.
They are intended to reflect the story of Peter and The Wolf, capturing how animals portray different human emotions within our dreams and what this says about our subconscious.
