This piece was created as personal exploration into color choice, as well as being intended to sell at events.
I created this piece digitally with textured brushes, starting out with painting the pigeon in my usual style. Afterwards, I chose a background color that would compliment the butter yellow I wanted to use for the text, contrasting it with a darker blue to help tie the pigeon in. I finished by using a digital paper texture over the top to add more of a traditional quality.
This piece is particularly suited as an art print or poster.
